Mercure Hotel Duisburg City

Loved this hotel for the proximity to the Christmas markets. The beds are super comfortable, we had top floor room which was nice but see below re: lift. Breakfast is expensive at €24 per person so we went out and ate in the nearby cafes. So much cheaper and lovely. The heating during winter at this hotel was super efficient and kept us snug. Staff are lovely and friendly

Very impressed by this hotel. It is big, modern, well maintained The room was big and well equipped The hotel has a great restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is apparently also a swimming pool and sauna but I didnt use them.

The hotel is very close to the trainstation. From there it is easy and a short way to Dusseldorf Airport. There are many restaurants neary the hotel where you can go for dinner. The person at the check-in desk was fast and friendly. The room is perfect and so was the shower. There was enough place to accomodate 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 3 years old). The breakfast is SUPERB: so many choices for healthy and tasty things, nice fresh fruits (also strawberries for example) and real (so no Chinese fake) honey. I would really recommend to include breakfast for this hotel.

Business hotel, close to a mall with several dining options. Underground parking. Staff very friendly and helpful

Stay was very good. I was with my family (2 kids) and a dog. Dogs are allowed which is a big plus for us. Very accessible with the parking garage in front for only 12 euro for 24 hours. The friendly bald guy at the reception especially opened the pool for my kids at 22:00 while it was actually already closed. Very nice guy and helpful! I recommend.
